For some, seedless oranges are ideal. Picky culinary experts believe that sometimes Spanish is juicier than Turkish fruits, and yellow grapefruit has a completely different taste than its pink counterpart.
The type of fruit, and, of course, the amount of ginger and sugar, determines how the final product (pancake escort) will turn out: sweet, sour-sweet, spicy-sweet.
Ingredients for the dough:
- 250 g of milk and flour;
- about 120-150 ml of water;
- a tablespoon of butter (cream) and sugar;
- a quarter teaspoon of vanillin and salt;
- two eggs;

- one and a half lemon;
- from 20 to 100 g of ginger;
- from 100 g of sugar.
How and what to do:
While the water boils, the butter is melted, I warm it well and milk.
Beat butter with eggs, vanilla, sugar, salt.
Pouring milk while stirring, pour in a stream of flour. The last thing I add to the dough is water.
As soon as a homogeneous mass is obtained, less often than for fritters, I set it aside for 30 minutes alone. And I'm preparing a delicious accompaniment to pancakes.
I’ll peel off all the fruits. I will cut the citrus fruits into strips (cubes), removing the seeds, whitish core. I will squeeze out juice from fruit. This can be done with a spoon, a pusher for mashed potatoes or simply with your hands in the dishes in which I will cook, so as not to lose a drop of precious nectar.
Then, when a lot of juice is formed, pour sugar into the pan. While it will dissolve in the orange mass, I clean the ginger root, rub it (using an ordinary grater with small holes). I am sending him to the pot.
I put everything on fire. Stirring, I bring only to a boil, remove from the stove. This process will need to be repeated three more times.
If you want to leave such yummy for long-term storage, then the interval between the heating and cooling procedure will be at least 12 hours. Now I’m sure that everything will leave immediately. After all, the finished product turns out to be about 300 g. Therefore, after a short (several minutes) interval, I set out to cook the delicacy on minimal heat, so that the whole mass has time to warm up evenly.
I bake pancakes in a special pan, grease it with a small amount of fat just before the first preparation. If you are cooking in an ordinary frying pan, check from time to time that it is not dry.
When the wonderful hill of hot pancakes with such a festive delicious orange accompaniment is ready, even the most sophisticated gourmet will hardly refuse it!
