In this review, the author shows the manufacturing process of a small home-made machine. With its help it will be possible to make rings of a certain diameter from a steel bar or profile pipes.
This device is suitable for small rooms (home workshop and garage) and significantly speeds up the manufacturing process of various homemade products.
For the manufacture of the machine, the author uses scraps of sheet metal with a thickness of 2 mm, pieces of steel pipes and a turn. Part of the snail that the author uses for the manufacture of forged elements is also useful.
Actually, the machine itself will be made on the basis of this snail, since there is a roller adjustment.
The main stages of work
First of all, we mark the sheet of metal and cut out a circle with a diameter of 170 mm from it. Since the master did not have standard pipes at hand, he had to bend the pipe of the desired diameter from a piece of strip.
The ends of the strip are welded together. Now the workpiece must be trimmed. A cut circle is inserted inside the strip. After that, you need to weld it from the inside.
At the next stage, the author drills a hole with a diameter of 20 mm in the center of the circle. We put the tube on the pin, and then weld to the coil.
Now we reinforce the coil with scraps of bar. Upstairs, the author puts on a piece of pipe and welds it to the turn.
Weld a piece of bar close to the coil. This will be an additional emphasis. We weld a nut to the bottom of the coil.
In the nut you need to make a slot. We put a pipe segment on the roller and assemble the entire structure completely.
