In this review, the author shows how to make a nozzle for an irrigation hose, which can be adjusted to different pressures.
With good pressure, a homemade nozzle sprays water in a radius of 4 meters. Moreover, it is more durable than its plastic counterparts from China.
Necessary materials and tools:
- square profile pipe 20 * 20 mm;
- half inch piece of round pipe;
- angle grinder (grinder);
- electric drill or screwdriver.
And first of all, the author cuts a piece of a profile pipe 20 * 20 mm in length about 6-7 cm. Previously, it will need to be sanded.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, it is necessary to weld a piece of a half-inch pipe to the profile pipe, and the other end must be plugged (with a metal plate welded to the end, or with a wooden chopper).
If you plan to use several nozzles for the irrigation hose connected in series, then the rest of the nozzles do this: we weld half-inch pieces from two sides to the workpiece from the profile.
After that, we drill a through hole with a diameter of 5 mm in the center of the profile pipe. And on the one hand we drill it with a drill with a diameter of 10 mm. In a small hole we cut the thread and screw a bolt into it. On the other side, you will need to weld a nut.
