Do you still use a drill only for drilling? That's right, but this tool is universal. On its basis, you can make other home-made devices and devices for working in a workshop or garage.
For example, in this review, the author proposes to make a manual circular based on an electric drill. Of course, you can buy a full circular, but a home-made one is like a fallback just in case.
In general, of course, we do not urge you to repeat this homemade product - we just want to share the very idea, which, in principle, can be done if necessary. You can always modify it if you don’t like something.
The main stages of work
To make a manual circular drill from an electric drill, you will also need a reducer from the grinder. If you have an old or inoperative angle grinder - this is the best option.
Then, from a piece of steel pipe, from which it will be necessary to cut a small piece, and a bolt with two nuts, the master makes a home-made clamp.
At the next stage of work, using four segments from the profile pipe, it will be necessary to connect the angle grinder to the clamp. Profiles are welded to the clamp, and bolted to the gearbox.
After that, the author installs a saw blade on the gearbox shaft, and makes a support sole for the circular out of a piece of plate.
In the end, it remains only to weld to the sole a piece of a steel strip bent by an arc. We clean welds with a grinder.
