Industrial (industrial) style is very popular. It is used for home decoration. Moreover, various pieces of furniture made in the Loft style will look great in the workshop.

In this review, the author suggests making a simple Loft-style table. To do this, he uses the most common materials - a floorboard (for the manufacture of countertops) and profile pipes for the frame.

First of all, you will need to cut the blanks from the profile, and weld from them two identical frames.

Please note that the frames themselves should not be rectangular, but trapezoidal in shape. In the lower part, the author makes an offset of 2.5 cm on each side.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the author connects the frames using two pieces of a profile pipe, which are welded horizontally. Welds will need to be cleaned with a grinder or grinder.

The author covers the finished metal frame with a primer, and then paints it with black paint. It is very convenient to use spray paint in the spray can.

Countertop manufacturing process

To make a countertop, the master uses a floorboard. It has grooves along the entire length - you need to get rid of them. That is, the plane should be even and smooth. For this, the author uses a thicknessing machine.

Next, glue the processed boards into a large shield. To pull off such a shield during gluing, you can use special long clamps for this - joiner's wands.

If there are any cracks, they can be repaired with a home-made putty made from small sawdust and PVA glue.

Next, we make the markup, and with the help of a jigsaw we cut out the countertop in size. Then it remains only to screw the countertop to the metal frame from the profile pipe. We cover the wood with stain and varnish or soak in oil.
