For some people, a bee or wasp sting can end up fraught, especially if there is an allergy to the bites of these insects. Therefore, in order to prevent the spread of poison in the body, it is necessary to quickly remove it from the wound.
A simple device that can be made from a conventional medical syringe is useful for this. A home-made vacuum pump will allow you to quickly remove bee venom from the wound when (the main thing is to perform the procedure until the poison has absorbed into the blood).
To make a vacuum pump, you need a 20 ml medical syringe, a spring and a metal washer. Even if you buy all the components, it will still cost less than the purchase of a factory vacuum pump.
The main stages of work
The first step is to put the spring on top of the piston grip. Please note that to put on the spring, you will need to slightly bend the stiffeners on the handle.
Next, the washer must also be put on this handle. In order to do this, it is necessary to make an incision with a drill or grinder, and then bend one end to the side with pliers.
After that, it remains only to cut off the part of the syringe barrel (the one with the nozzle), and you can assemble the device, that is, simply insert the piston into the cylinder.
