For safer work when cutting small metal blanks, a grinder is best fixed permanently. To do this, you can make a simple and convenient stand using available materials.
First of all, it is necessary to attach two metal corners to the body of the angle grinder with bolts of suitable diameter. First, in the corners, you will need to drill one hole for the bolts.
The author uses a piece of plywood 20-22 mm thick as a platform for angle grinder. In plywood, you will need to drill holes so that you can then fix the grinder. The author inserts threaded bushings into the remaining holes.
The main stages of work
Then it will be necessary to cut out the base from the plywood sheet. Two more blanks are vertically attached to it. Between them then the platform itself is established, to which the Bulgarian is attached.
At the next stage, two rails for drawers are attached to the base (available at a furniture store). They need to fasten a piece of the board. In the board itself, the author selects two long grooves in which aluminum profiles are installed.
The upper part of the board on furniture rails is sheathed with pieces of thin sheet metal. Then the assembly of the device is performed.
