From segments of pipes with a diameter of 15 and 20 mm, it is necessary to make a hinge for the support platform under the legs. The central part of the hinge must be movable, and the tubes on the sides will be welded to the uprights.
The main stages of work
First you need to cut four pieces of the profile pipe 40 * 20 mm for the racks of the stepladder. On one of them you need to make markings for the stairs.
Then, from a sheet of metal, you need to cut a couple of round discs, which are welded along the edges of the supports, and connect the two racks of the stepladder.
In these joints, it will be necessary to drill holes for the M8 bolts. Please note that the bottom corners on the profiles must be cut and rounded, otherwise the hinges will not be able to open.
At the last stage, it remains only to connect all the workpieces by welding, and weld the stops under the legs of the stepladder, and also weld the plate on the inside of the stairs under the foot platform.
