Cats are very "capricious" pets, they like to relax in comfort. And hanging shelves that are easy to make with your own hands are perfect for this. The basic materials will require circles cut from a plywood sheet, ropes of different thicknesses, as well as a carabiner to secure the shelf to the desired height.

The main stages of work

First of all, with the help of a compass, make markings on a plywood sheet with a thickness of 20 mm, after which we pick up a jigsaw and cut a circle of suitable diameter (about 15-20 cm). The number of such blanks is determined individually. You can make one hanging shelf or several (for example, to hang them in different rooms).

In each workpiece we mark and drill three holes. Grind the edges with fine emery paper, after which we fasten a rope 2 cm thick around the entire circumference. To do this, you can take ordinary superglue (or non-contact glue, which is sold in cans). The outer part of the joint between the rope and plywood is also additionally glued with quick-drying glue.

The next step will require ropes of smaller diameter - we cut three segments of the desired length, tie a knot on one side, and then thread the rope through the drilled holes. Glue the upper ends together and fasten the carabiner. The lower ends can be dissolved into "curls".

Finishing touch

The surface of the circle can be soaked with mineral oil or simply sanded and left as is. As a result, we got simple hanging shelves for cats, on which pets can both relax and "ride with the breeze" (like on a swing).
