From improvised materials, having a modest set of tools available, you can make a practical and convenient wooden chair for the street, which organically fits into the landscape design of the garden or summer cottage. As a rule, working with finished boards is much easier, so pallets for this purpose are just perfect.
Moreover, they can be purchased at affordable prices in any hardware store - it’s better to buy those that were already in use. Preliminary grinding of pallets is not necessary at all, since we will process the fully assembled chair.
Wooden chair for the street: stages of work
First of all, we sort the pallets onto the boards and select the ones that are best preserved. Then we make the marking and saw off the workpieces of the desired size with a hand hacksaw (or using a hand circular). We cut part of the boards at an angle from two sides, the rest - we cut only from one side.
Then we collect from the obtained blanks two side halves and connect them together. The remaining boards are used for the manufacture of seats and backs. After that, it remains only to make the armrests, and the chair from the pallets is completely ready. We grind the surface well and paint.
Such a wooden chair for the street will be an excellent decoration for a country or garden plot, and at the same time, the cost of the product is much lower than factory furniture. Another positive point is that you do not need to use expensive specialized tools and machines (hand milling machines, surface gages, etc.).
