A construction (or garden) trolley is an indispensable thing in a summer cottage and in a private house. With its help, it is possible to transport land, collected foliage, building materials or other oversized materials.
Such a garden wheelbarrow (single or multi-wheeled) can be bought without problems in the construction store. A wide selection of trolleys is on sale: from the cheapest consumer goods to high-quality models.
However, the desire to save a little, and also to simplify (or, on the contrary, complicate) the work pushes some craftsmen to make home-made trolleys.
For example, in this review, the author suggests making a wheelbarrow with your own hands from improvised materials. Yes, not simple, but four-wheeled, with a tipping mechanism of the trough.
The main stages of work
A profile pipe is used as the main material. The first step is to cut four workpieces from the profile pipe. Of these, a square-shaped frame will need to be welded.
At the next stage, eight more blanks from the profile must be cut: 4 long and 4 short. Of these, you need to weld the L-shaped racks. Studs are inserted into short segments and scalded.
Next, four racks are welded to a square frame, and two of them are connected to each other with a piece of steel plate. A manual jack will then be installed on it.
Then the frame needs to be cut so that the back of the car is independent of the front. Then a trough is attached to the hinges and a jack is installed.
At the last stage, it remains only to clean the profile with a grinder and paint. Then you need to put wheels on the studs.
