A homemade thermo knife nozzle is designed for installation on a gas burner. With it, you can cut satin ribbons, various synthetic fabrics, ropes and other materials. At the same time, it is very simple to make such a universal nozzle.
When using a home-made thermal knife, the cut is smooth, with neatly fused edges. By the way, with the help of this nozzle you can also cut rubber hoses, which are used for watering in the country house and garden.
The first step is to cut a piece of pipe with a diameter of 25 mm and a length of 15 cm. At one end of the pipe, a through hole will need to be drilled with a drill with a diameter of 10 mm. Also, from the end it will be necessary to make a small slot in the direction of the hole.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, it is necessary to cut out the main part for this homemade product from the old concrete disk. If there are no worn discs at hand, then a plate of suitable thickness can be used. The part is welded to the tube.
Next, on the other side of the pipe segment, you need to drill a hole with a diameter of 11 mm, and a regular hex nut under the M10 bolt is welded to this hole.
Using a file for metal at the end of the tube, you need to make a small groove. And after that, it remains only to screw the handle, and the home-made device is ready to work.
