From the very beginning, it should be noted: this method is suitable for shoes in a state of practically "emission", as a result, it will not become "as good as new." However, sometimes there are situations when urgently you need to "reanimate" shoes dusting in the pantry.

So, we need glue (I used Dragon, it quickly hardens and is universal, but any glue for shoes is also suitable), as well as a slightly thin “better lining” fabric of a suitable color.
First you need to clean the sandals, paying special attention to those areas on which it is planned to make "patches". In our case, it was necessary to glue the heel, for this, the stripped strip must be smeared with glue, pressed tightly. To get rid of trapped air and excess glue, hold your finger several times, then fix the strip, tightly bandaging the heel with threads. Leave glue to dry.

Now it’s the turn of the “patches”. Figures repeating the shape of the heel are cut out of the prepared fabric (do not forget about the undercuts), and are applied to the surface greased with glue. Speed is very important, as everything quickly freezes: you need to have time to smooth out the folds, correctly place the “patches”. The tissue that extends beyond the edge is removed with a blade.
