Using this home-made device, you can set the required height of the teeth of the saw blade on a circular saw. This homemade work is noteworthy in that it saves time. And to make it very simple.

To make this device you will need a piece of plywood, a wooden block and a piece of sheet metal.

It should be noted that the device is universal - it can be used not only to set the height of the saw blade on a circular saw, but also when using a milling cutter or a manual circular tool.

And the first thing to do is glue two pieces at a 90-degree angle: a piece of plywood and a wooden block. We clamp the workpieces with clamps and leave until the glue completely dries.

The main stages of work

The next step is to stick a piece of plywood to a wooden plank. We position it so that the square freely moves.

After that, the author cuts a small piece of sheet metal (galvanized) and bends it a little in an arc. Two holes must be drilled in a metal blank and in a wooden case.

Then we fasten the metal plate to the wooden case for two screws with a press washer. Homemade ready. We insert a square into it, and you can begin to work.

For details on how to make a device for measuring the height of the saw blade using a square, we recommend that you watch in the video on the site.
